Les Ateliers Kami inc. is based on a past from which emerges the unwavering desire of the people of Témiscamingue to provide people with disabilities with various quality services. Over the years, the organization has become a social economy enterprise, an adapted work center, set up in 1982, in order to allow disabled people, young people and adults, productive but not competitive in a regular enterprise, to experience a suitable work environment that is as close as possible to the regular job market. For several years now, the corporation has offered the Temiscamian population a labor rental and housekeeping service for public buildings.
