The Conseil québécois des entreprises adaptées (CQEA) is concerned about respecting the privacy of users and is committed to respecting it. This website was developed by the CQEA.

PRIVATE INFORMATION

The CQEA’s Internet site does not contain any technology that allows the collection of personal information from users against their will. The only personal information that the CQEA may collect is information that users voluntarily provide by writing directly to an e-mail address listed on the site. Such information will be treated and stored in the same manner as any other direct communication with the CQEA.

AUTOMATICALLY TRANSMITTED INFORMATION

You should know that as soon as you access the www. site, automatically and without your intervention, an exchange of information takes place between your computer and the CQEA server. This information does not identify you personally. The following information is exchanged:

  • the Internet domain name (for example, “xcompany.com” if you use a private Internet access account, or “university.edu” if you access via a university) and your IP address (an IP address is a number automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider whenever you surf the Web) with which you access our site;
  • the type of browser and operating system used to access our site;
  • the date and time you access our site;
  • the pages you visit;
  • the address of the referring site (if you reach www. from another site).

The CQEA uses the Google Analytics service. Google Analytics requires in its Privacy policy that the CQEA provide this information:

This exchange of information is necessary for the server to transmit to the user a file compatible with the computer equipment it uses. The CQEA also keeps the information required to count the number of visitors, the most frequently visited pages, the technology used by users of its site, the referring sites, and the country of origin of Internet users.
